Jerome Clotknottle was the first man to ever be refused entry to the Olympic Games for being too good. In 1972 the Olympic Committee refused Jerome his chance at Olympic Gold because they thought it was not in keeping with the Olympic ideal, knowing that this man would easily push aside his competition. Jerome was a champion REAL tennis player and a month after the Olympics was found dead in his flat after eating large amounts of rat poison. Mrs Clotknottle blamed the Olympic Committee for her sons demise.
