Save The Goldfish takes the privacy of its users very seriously. You can be assured that none of your personal information will be disclosed to anyone or anything (even if they offer us free McDonalds for a year). All passwords are hashed so that they are not discernable by anyone, including the administrator.
All you need to join is a username and a valid email address. The email address is only used for account activation and password recovery. Once you have registered and activated your account then you may change your email address to a fake one. If you do this then you will forego the ability to recover your password.
In very rare circumstances the site administrator may email you, otherwise the only time we will email you is if you contact us first.
